Diese ÖNORM legt Anforderungen an die Konstruktion und Herstellung von Kotelettschneidemaschinen fest. Die von dieser ÖNORM erfassten Maschinen werden für die kontinuierliche Portionierung von frischem, geräuchertem oder gefrorenem Fleisch mit und ohne Knochen oder ähnlichen Produkten durch Trennen mit einem umlaufenden Sichelmesser verwendet. Kotelettschneidemaschinen für den Hausgebrauch werden von dieser ÖNORM nicht abgedeckt. Diese ÖNORM deckt nicht die Anforderungen an die Konstruktion und Herstellung von Kotelettschneidemaschinen für den Hausgebrauch ab.
