Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt Anforderungen an Strassenmarkierungen aus Farbe, Heissplastik- und Kaltplastikmassen. Die Festlegungen beziehen sich sowohl auf mechanische als auch auf optische Anforderungen (zB Retroflexion und Farbe für trockene und nasse Markierungen). In normativen Anhängen sind Messmethoden im Freien oder im Labor für Leuchtdichtekoeffizienten und für die Griffigkeit beschrieben.
