This document establishes the provisions regarding the performance characteristics of the following types of cross-laminated timber used in buildings and bridges: - Type 1: flat or curved cross-laminated timber comprising only board plies but not universal finger-jointed joints; - Type 2: flat cross-laminated timber comprising only board layers and universal finger-jointed joints; - Type 3: flat cross-laminated timber that includes boards and wood-based material layers, but no universal finger-jointed joints.
