Festgelegt werden Anforderungen für die Sicherheit von Personen und Gegenständen im Zusammenhang mit stationären und ortsveränderlichen Kälteanlagen aller Grössen, einschliesslich Wärmepumpen und indirekten Kühl- oder Heizsystemen. Es wird auch auf den Aufstellungsort dieser Kälteanlagen Bezug genommen. Diese ÖNORM gilt nicht für Komfort-Klimaanlagen in Fahrzeugen.
