Defines a method for determination of the resistance of the colour of textiles of all kinds and forms, excepting loose fibres, to exposure to atmospheric oxides of nitrogen resulting from the combustion of chemically pure butane gas. For use in rating of the colour fastness of dyes by application of the dye to textiles using a specific method and depth of colour and testing the dyed fabrics.
