Dieser Teil von ISO 15792 legt die Herstellung der Prüfstücke für Stumpfnähte und der Proben fest. Der Zweck ist, Prüfmethoden zur Bestimmung von Festigkeit und Kerbschlagarbeit der Schweissverbindung festzulegen, wenn Schweisszusätze in der Einlagen- und Lage/Gegenlage-Technik geprüft werden. Dieser Teil von ISO 15792 gilt für Schweisszusätze für das Lichtbogenschweissen von Stahl.
