Diese Internationale Norm legt die Mindest-Anforderungen an Gummischläuche und Schlauchleitungen mit Textileinlage und glatter Innenschicht zum Ansaugen und Fördern von Wasser fest. Drei Typen von Schläuchen und Schlauchleitungen sind entsprechend den Anforderungen an die Betriebs-bedingungen festgelegt, d. h. Wasser- und Umgebungstemperaturbereiche: Umgebungstemperaturen: -25 grad C bis +70 grad C; Wassertemperaturen bei Betrieb: 0 grad C bis +70 grad C.
