This document specifies the calibration and testing of tensile and compression testing machines. The inspection consists of: - a general inspection of the testing machine, including the machinery components for the application of force; - A calibration of the force measuring device of the testing machine; - a confirmation that the properties of the test machine determined reach the limits specified for a given class.
