ÖNORM EN ISO 128-30 legt die allgemeinen Grundsätze für die Darstellung von Ansichten in allen Arten von technischen Zeichnungen (mechanische Technik, Elektrotechnik, Architektur, Tiefbau u. dgl.) in Orthogonalprojektion nach ISO 5456-2 fest. Die Anforderungen an die Reproduktion, einschliesslich Mikroverfilmung nach ISO 6428, wurden auch in diesem Teil von ISO 128 berücksichtigt.
