Dieser Teil der EN 60320 gilt für zweipolige Gerätesteckvor-richtungen nur für Wechselstrom, mit oder ohne Schutzkontakt, mit einer Bemessungsspannung bis 250 V und einem Bemessungsstrom nicht über 16 A für den Hausgebrauch und ähnliche allgemeine Zwecke, die zum Anschluss einer flexiblen Leitung mit elektrischen Geräten oder anderen elektrischen Einrichtungen für einen Netzanschluss von 50 Hz oder 60 Hz dienen.
