Diese Bestimmung legt Anforderungen für Geräteanschlussleitungen und Weiterverbindungs-Geräteanschlussleitungen für den Hausgebrauch und ähnliche allgemeine Zwecke fest. Sie gilt weder für Geräteanschlussleitungen (cord sets) für industrielle Anwendung (mit Stecker und Kupplungen nach IEC 60309) noch für Verlängerungsleitungen.
