This part of IEC 60317 specifies the requirements for enamel-insulated flat wires made of aluminum, class 120, with a single coating based on polyvinyl acetal resin or polyvinyl formal resin, which may be modified, provided that it retains the chemical identity of the original resin and meets all specified requirements the wire.
