Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM gilt für unabhängige Produkte, die eine Steckdose oder eine Kupplung nach IEC 60309-1 oder IEC 60309-2 mit einem Schaltgerät innerhalb eines Gehäuses kombinieren und die eine Bemessungs-Betriebsspannung bis 690 V Gleich- oder Wechselstrom, 500 Hz und einen Bemessungsstrom bis 250 A haben, die im Wesentlichen zur industriellen Anwendung in Räumen oder im Freien bestimmt sind. Diese Produkte können auch eine Verriegelung und/oder Schutzvorrichtungen enthalten.
