Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM behandelt die Sicherheit von elektrischen Wassererwärmern (Warm-wasserspeichern und Warmwasserboilern) für den Hausgebrauch und ähnliche Zwecke, die zum Aufheizen des Wassers auf eine Temperatur unterhalb des Siedepunktes bestimmt sind, wobei ihre Bemessungsspannung nicht mehr als 250 V für Einphasengeräte und 480 V für andere Geräte beträgt.
