Dieser Teil von ÖVE/ÖNORM EN 60384 gilt für Gleichspannungs-Festkondensatoren mit einem Dielektrikum aus Polypropylenfolien und Belägen aus dünnen Metallfolien. Die Kondensatoren, die in dieser Norm behandelt werden, sind zur Verwendung in Geräten der Elektronik vorgesehen. Funkentstörkondensatoren sind nicht eingeschlossen, werden jedoch in ÖVE/ÖNORM EN 60384-14 behandelt.
