Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM legt die Hersteller-Grenzabweichungen für Thermoleitungen und Aus-gleichsleitungen (mit Ausnahme der mineralisolierten Kabel) fest, die direkt für Nutzer im industriellen Bereich bereitgestellt werden. Diese Grenzabweichungen beziehen sich auf die Grundwertreihen aus Teil 1 der Norm. Das Verfahren zur Kennzeichnung von isolierten Thermoleitungen und Ausgleichsleitungen, ausser für mineralisolierte Kabel, wird beschrieben. Ausserdem werden die Anforderungen für Thermoleitungen und Ausgleichsleitungen für Anwendungen in der industriellen Leittechnik festgelegt.
