Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM gilt für automatische elektrische wasserstandsabhängige RS in Schwimmer- oder Elektrodenfühler-Ausführung für die Verwendung in, an oder in Verbindung mit Wasserboilern mit einem höchsten Nenndruck von 2000 kPa (20 bar) für den Hausgebrauch oder ähnliche Anwendungen. Dieser Teil 2 gilt für die zugehörige Sicherheit, die Betriebswerte, die Betriebsablauffolgen, wo diese mit dem Schutz des Betriebsmittels verbunden sind, und für die Prüfung von automatischen elektrischen wasserstandsabhängigen RS, die in, an oder in Verbindung mit Haushaltsgeräten oder ähnlichen Einrichtungen verwendet werden. EN 60730-2-1 ist nicht anwendbar für elektrische wasserstandsabhängige Regel- und Steuergeräte in Schwimmer- oder Elektrodenfühler-Ausführung.
