Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM gilt für RÖNTGENSTRAHLER und RÖNTGENSTRAHLER mit Blendensystem, die mit DREHANODENRÖNTGENRÖHREN ausgestattet sind und die in der MEDIZINISCHEN DIAGNOSTISCHEN RADIOLOGIE für Techniken verwendet werden, bei denen das RÖNTGEN-STRAHLENRELIEF gleichzeitig in allen Punkten der BILDEMPFÄNGERFLÄCHE empfangen wird. Wenn nichts anderes festgelegt ist, gilt diese Norm für einen Röntgenstrahler mit einer neuwertigen Drehanoden-Röntgenröhre. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Röntgenstrahler und Röntgenstrahler mit Blendensystem für Spezialanwendungen, die beispielsweise grössere Variationen der Luftkermaleistung oder bestimmte Verteilungsmuster erforderlich machen.
