Zusätzlich zum Anwendungsbereich in Teil 1 legt dieser Teil der Norm bezüglich der elektromagnetischen Verträglichkeit die minimalen Anforderungen an die Störfestigkeit und an die Störaussendung für medizinische In-vitro-Diagnosegeräte fest, wobei die Besonderheiten und spezifischen Aspekte dieser elektrischen Geräte und deren elektromagnetische Umgebung berücksichtigt werden.
