Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM gilt für Wechselstrom- Reihenkondensator-Überbrückungsschalter, die für Freiluftaufstellung und für den Betrieb in Netzen mit Frequenzen von 50 Hz und 60 Hz und Spannungen über 52 kV ausgelegt sind. Sie gilt nur für Überbrückungsschalter zur Verwendung in dreiphasigen Netzen. Diese Norm gilt auch für den Antrieb und Hilfseinrichtungen der Überbrückungsschalter.
