Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM legt Anforderungen an fabrikgefertigte, metallgekapselte Schaltanlagen für Wechselstrom bei Bemessungsspannungen über 1 kV bis einschliesslich 52 kV für Innenraum- und Freiluftaufstellung und für Betriebsfrequenzen bis einschliesslich 60 Hz fest. Die Kapselungen können fest eingebaute oder herausnehmbare Bauteile enthalten und können zur Isolation mit Fluiden (Flüssigkeit oder Gas) gefüllt sein.
