This Published Document provides guidance and information concerned with the effective and safe guarding of fires and heating appliances.
The document considers only the burning or ignition hazards associated with high temperatures or free flames of fires and heating appliances. It does not consider protection against electric shock, the requirements for which are now incorporated into the appropriate product standards and in legislation concerning electrical safety.
