Pertains to the basic safety and essential performance of radiotherapy simulators that use X-ray equipment to simulate geometrically parameters of movements (with such elements as limits for speed of angular and linear movements, accuracy of positioning of the moving parts of the simulator, interruption or failure of powered movements, etc.), as well as to simulate radiation fields of radiotherapy equipment.
