    This Handbook provides guidance on the application of communications cabling standards such as AS/NZS ISO/IEC 15018 to residential communications cabling.This Handbook is intended to be a ‘field’ document for cablers to assist them to cable residential premises for telephone, data, TV, control and security, and provide guidance on the application of requirements, with cross references to the actual Standards, where it is necessary for clarification. Figure 1.1 illustrates the range of complexity, from a single, self-contained dwelling to multiple dwellings. Appendix A contains a glossary of terms and abbreviations used in this Handbook.
