Describes a strongly alkaline, water-soluble powder, scale conditioner. For use typically in conditioning heat scale formed on aircraft turbine engine high-temperature alloy parts by immersing in a solution of the compound at elevated temperature. Not to be used for cleaning aluminum parts.
