Defines tests to be carried out so as to assess the suitability of foam concentrates used for production of medium expansion foam (manufactured from foam concentrates conforming to prEN 1568-1), or high expansion foam (prEN 1568-2) and fire extinguishing powder conforming to EN 615, when used alone or combined with liquefied natural gas (LNG) fires. Does not define the general requirements for foam concentrates in prEN 1568-1 and prEN 1568-2, or fire extinguishing powder in EN 615. Not applicable to foam concentrates used for production of low expansion foam which are not used on LNG installations.
