This document describes a test method for measuring a quantity characteristic of the product-specific characteristics of the sound reflection of railway noise barriers and related devices for influencing airborne sound propagation, the sound reflection index RI, and for the subsequent calculation of a singular specification for sound absorption from this quantity.
