Applies to electric storage heaters which have a daily operating cycle and are meant to heat the room in which they are located. Defines the main performance characteristics of storage heaters and establishes procedures to measure the characteristics for the information of users. Does not specify values for performance characteristics. The EN and BS EN were derived by CENELEC from IEC. The CENELEC modifications have been implemented at the appropriate places in the text and are indicated by a margin side line.
