Applies to time switches and timers for household and similar use. Applies to manual controls when they are electrically and/or mechanically integral with timers. Does not consider the response value of an automatic action of a control if this response value depends upon the method of mounting the control in the equipment. Coverage includes protection against electric shock, moisture and dust resistance, endurance, environmental stress, resistance to corrosion, radio interference suppression and heating.
