Provides the basis for a uniform procedure for a common mark, implements the approval schedule for safety tests only in IEC 60938-2, needs a declaration of design for paramaters necessary to safety tests and gives conformance tests to be carried out on every lot before its release and requalification tests depending on changes of the design. This specification is limited to safety tests only. Blank detail specifications are a supplementary document to the sectional specification and define requirements for layout, style and minimum content of detail specifications. When preparing detail specifications, the content of 1.4 of the sectional specification should be taken into consideration.
