Applicable to capacitors for microwave ovens operated at a.c. voltages up to 3000 V and a superimposed d.c. voltage. Applies specifically to capacitors having a metal case and an upper rated maximum temperature not in excess of 100 deg C, non-self-healing, with metal foil electrodes and dielectrics of paper and/or plastic, impregnated with a suitable oil.
