Applicable where optical fibre connectors are in practical use and is necessary for ensuring a designed minimum return loss of the connector at a mating point. Intended for screening of single mode physical contact optical fibre connectors of an optical patch cord and an optical pigtail cord as return loss, thereby confirming minimum return loss when the connectors, having been screen tested by this procedure, are randomly concatenated each other in the field.
