Script management is the management of telephony service customization and script downloading. Script management for ADSI Feature Download enables local exchange carrier to manage and download, using the ADSI protocol, customized telephony CPE resident features, referred to as telephony service scripts. These scripts provide a visual interface for the vertical services available to a customer line. After a download occurs, the download, CPE resident telephony service script provides context sensitive soft keys and displays which visually show options at appropriate times during a call. This publication identifies the functionality needed to implement the script management capability.
