Gives Bellcore's view of proposed generic guidelines for terminals for offering Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) terminal adapter capabilities on Basic Rate Interfaces (BRIs). Supplies the interworking function between conventional analog lines and ISDN lines, permitting analog terminals connected to these adapters the ability to continue to function and operate in an ISDN environment.
