GUIDELINES FOR WRITING APPLICATIONS WHICH USE THE ANALOG DISPLAY SERVICES INTERFACE (ADSI) FOR DATA COMMUNICATIONS
01-12-1994
12-01-2013
Guidelines to the developer of Stored Program Controlled Switching system (SPCS) based features (i.e., applications) regarding how to design such features to effectively use the message layer command set and other functionality of the Analog Display Services Interface (ADSI) to communicate interactively with ADSI compatible Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). The ADSI provides interactive, two-way communications sessions between the end user via the COE and the feature via an ADSI Server, as well as display of many types of data over a virtual display area. Generic requirements for the ADSI are documented in TR NWT-001273 and CPE compatibility considerations for the ADSI are documented in SR-INS-002461. This SR- is intended to complement the ADSI generic requirements.
