Bellcore's view of construction procedures for placing facilities in or on telephone company transport structures. The manual describes uniform construction procedures to be followed by all parties authorized by a telephone company to place their communications facilities on or in supporting structures and trenches owned, administered or provided by the telephone company. It includes the basic considerations and requirements relative to the construction procedures prescribed, but is not intended as a reflection of the total construction practices that may apply in a telephone company operating area. Sections of this manual that are affected by the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) have been updated to reflect the latest NFSC requirements (1990 Edition).
