This document gives guidelines for the cross wind assessment of railways. This document is applicable to all passenger vehicles, locomotives and power cars (with a maximum train speed above 140 km/h up to 360 km/h) and freight wagons (with a maximum train speed above 80 km/h up to 160 km/h) and track gauges from 1 435 mm to 1 668 mm inclusive.
