Provides results from the comprehensive 1983 Subscriber Loop Survey characterizing the loop network and its topology. The data includes both physical and electrical/transmission characteristics over the audio (dc-4 kHz) frequencies and ISDN (40-200 kHz) frequencies. Such date are useful in determining performance of the loop plant and in developing tools for engineering and/or economic studies. This data is especially useful in the development of planning information for effective application of digital carrier technology and digital loop technology.
