Purpose of this NATO standardization agreement (STANAG) is to respond to the following interoperability requirements: - Participating nations agree that general purpose stretchers, bearing brackets, and attachment supports used by NATO Forces will conform to the dimensions shown in the covered standard and that restraining aids will be available.
