A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.
Purpose of this NATO standardization agreement (STANAG) is to respond to the following interoperability requirements: - To describe concepts, principles and guidelines for NATO land forces on the proper return of stores and equipment to rear areas including designated storage, repair, recycling, supply or disposal points.
