Purpose of this agreement is to facilitate joint and multinational use and exchange of munitions by prescribing standardized test requirements for the safety and suitability for service assessment of Safety, Arming and Functioning Systems (SAF Systems) employed in munitions. Use of these standardized tests contributes towards ensuring user safety during storage, transportation, and deployment of munitions.
