Purpose of this agreement is to respond to the following interoperability requirements: - To provide an interface that permits interchangeability. It is compatible with the STANAG 4694 NATO Accessory Rail and backwards compatible with US MIL-STD-1913 accessories. - To provide power transfer through rail interface; and - To permits device control through the rail interface.
