Purpose of this agreement is to respond to the following interoperability requirements: - To enhance the interoperability during crises and war time between nations, Strategic Commands and deployed operations by ensuring the efficient and accurate exchange and support of METOC data, information and products; and - It is essential that the METOC data and support products are consistent with regard to contents and format over the range from contributing Nation, NCS and NFS and that the unique responsibilities of each entity within the joint and combined environment will be ensured.
