Purpose of this agreement is to respond to the following interoperability requirements: - To enable nations and NATO bodies to conduct joint operations with coordinated Signals Intelligence support. - It is intended for those who derive benefit from NATO Intelligence; and - As a part of the AJP-2 Series, the purpose of this publication is to define the common Joint Signals Intelligence Doctrine that is to be used within the Alliance and, through doing so, to promote interoperability.
