Purpose of this agreement is to respond to the following interoperability requirements: - This doctrine will contribute to interoperability by describing organizations and means deployed for recovering personnel isolated in hostile environment during NATO operations. - It also standardize the execution phases for this missions and defined the education and training levels of personnel before entering area of operations in order to facilitate their potential recovery.
