A proposed supplement to the criteria in Issue 2 of TR NWT-000397. The criteria in this proposed supplement provide guidelines for the support of test procedures and sequences associated with the Pair Gain Test Controller (PGTC) and existing test systems for example, MLT (Mechanized Loop Testing) by ISDNLUNT/LULT line units. The criteria are specific to ISDN LUNT/LULT line units designed for deployment in Universal Digital Loop Carrier (UDLC) systems that meet TR TSY-000465 and that implement the 3-DSO TDM multiplexing scheme. TR TSY-000465 defines requirements for a particular interface between digital loop carrier systems and loop testing systems. That interface is provided by the PGTC, which is manufactured by AT & T Technologies, Inc.
