Gives a preliminary view of generic requirements for Fiber In The Loop (FITL) systems. It is intended to cover all existing telecommunications services and digital baseband video services. It attempts to address all functional and feature requirements for FITL systems while referencing appropriate requirements for related FITL equipment and components. It will either A) contain all necessary generic requirements in a particular area or 2) cover at a high level the thrust of generic requirements in other Bellcore documents, pointing to thosed documents for details.
