TA NWT 001253 : ISSUE 1

Bellcore's view of proposed generic operations interface requirements for Network Element (NE) Security administration by Operations Systems (OSs), using the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Common Management Information and Protocols. TA 1253 defines generic requirements for the security information exchanged between OSs and NEs and the service set that are used by the application layer as the basis for communication. the generic interface requirements defined in TA 1253 support the security functional requirements established in Bellcore TR TSY-000815, Generic Requirements for Network Element Security.
