Describes Bellcore's preliminary view of proposed generic requirements for an AIN 0.2 Switch - Service Control Point (SCP)/ Adjunct Interface. The interface proposed generic requirements include the application protocol as well as the lower layer protocols. The application protocol is a set of conventions to manage communications between applications to provide services in an AIN 0.2 architecture. It includes proposed generic requirements for the application layer messages, parameters, and protocol procedures for the Service Switching Point (SSP) - Service Control point (SCP)/Adjunct interface.
