The Bellcore Client Companies (BCCs) may choose to use Quality and Reliability (Q & R) information to help assure the quality of procured products and services and as input to procurement decisions. Information derived from suppliers' Q & R Data assists a BCC to consider the effects of Q & R on total costs of product procurement, operation and maintenance. This document proposes generic requirements regarding comprehensive Q & R Data when a requesting BCC determines that such data is appropriate. The requirements address a supplier's system for collecting and reporting data and address responding to a BCC request for Q & R Data by completing and returning standard report forms.
